Design of an installation for the garden exhibition site at Tulln, near Vienna. The garden, entitled Fragmented Orchard, is an exploration of how a simple design intervention can influence our perception of very familiar garden typologies, transforming them from the predictable into something unusual. In 'fragmented orchard' a symbolic meadow made up of multiple grass strips is laid out beneath a grid of nine apple trees. Multiple perspectives of the orchard are created as visitors view the garden in motion.
